Legacy Banquet/Silent Auction
Each year North Point host’s a “Legacy Banquet” for friends of the Academy. This banquet has been attended by over 400 participants each year. Past speakers have included Lt. Governor Casey Cagle and Chick-Fil-A Founder Truett Cathy. This night also includes a Silent Auction. The auction includes things from electronics, sports packages, education supplies, vacation packages, artwork, spa packages, as well as many other things.
The next Legacy Banquet will be on Thursday April 22, 2010. Our speaker will be Mr. Gene Lord, Executive Vice President & COO for Flowers Foods. This company has a strong Christian and moral influence in corporate America.
Tickets and an on-line auction will be available early Spring. Tables can be purchased by individuals or businesses.

Eagles Scholarship Fund
We realize that many of our parents sacrifice to offer a private Christian education for their children. In 2010 we are establishing a special Eagles Scholarship Fund from money donated and a portion of the Annual Fund proceeds. Parents may apply through the school office. Financial information will need to be submitted with the official request. A scholarship committee will discreetly review each request and will ensure confidentiality. Scholarship funds are dependent on availability of funds.
The first scholarships will be awarded for the 2010-2011 school year. Current students take precedent in the process.
Scholarship Application will be available for download here. For more information email academy@northpointeagles.com.
Next Generation Scholarship Foundation
You can take the amount you pay for state income taxes and redirect it to a SSO. If you choose NGSF, you can designate North Point Christian Academy as the recipient by entering our school name on the memo portion of your check. You will receive an income tax CREDIT against your Georgia income taxes for the amount of your contribution up to the limits shown below:
- Single Individual – $1,000
- Married Couples filing joint return, LLC and LLP – $2,500
- “C” Corporations – 75% of the corporation’s income tax liability
- $50 million allocated each calendar year for the entire program statewide
- Credits allocated on a first-come first-served basis
For example, if you are married filing jointly, your Georgia state income taxes are $4,000, and you make the maximum contribution for the state tax credit of $2,500, you would only have to pay $1,500 in income taxes to the State of Georgia for that year.
Contributions received from this scholarship program will promote school growth and increase our enrollment. Over the past few years, some students have had to leave our school and enroll in public schools due to economic reasons. We will use every opportunity to notify those families about the program. We are also encouraging our current school families to help us increase public awareness of this great opportunity and be a blessing to other families who desire a Christian education for their children.
